We all know that Deadmau5 can activate his fan base like he’s switching on a MIDI controller. This is the guy who shut down the Apple store in Santa Monica when he made an appearance in May. That’s some Depeche Mode in the ’80s steez. No wonder the radical rodent lapped his peers in the voting for Artist of the Year. Oh yeah, he also released a stellar album of his patented brand of minimal trancy techno, and wowed capacity crowds across the country with his helmeted live shows.
